What you can do
- Follow shows and search directly: Browse by genre or search PodcastIndex.org's full directory, then follow with one tap. No detail page required.
- Listen to live radio, too: Search and save stations from anywhere in the world, right alongside your podcasts.
- Your queue builds itself. New episodes land in Up Next automatically. No manual playlist to maintain.
- Reorder with a swipe or a drag. Pin something to the top, dismiss it, or long-press to rearrange the whole queue by hand.
- Downloads happen quietly in the background, adapting to your listening habits with a one-tap toggle if you'd rather they wait for Wi-Fi or even set it for your cellular connection.
- Undo anything. Unfollowed the wrong show or cleared an episode by mistake? Undo it for a few seconds. No confirmation dialogs standing between you and a mistake.
- Tune playback to your ears. Adjust speed, boost speech clarity and set a sleep timer that shuts off when you do for the night.
- See your own listening stats Includes streaks, totals, a private heatmap. All calculated on your device and never sent anywhere.
- Pick your look. Three different backgrounds, switchable right from the Up Next screen.

How it's built
- No backend, ever. There's no BarePod server to breach, sell to, or shut down.
- Everything's stored locally in a database on your device which includes subscriptions, queue, history, settings.
- Open directories, not our own tracking. Podcast search uses PodcastIndex.org; radio stations come from Radio Browser.Both are public, both read-only, neither requires an account.
- Built in Flutter. Available now for Android, with iOS planned.
- Free, ad-free, subscription-free by design. If a paid tier ever exists, it'll be optional extras and never a paywall on the app itself.
